A poor young woman is recruited by a friendly couple traveling in an RV into becoming part of the dark world of truck stop prostitution.

Close friends Marcus and Holly begin their freshman year at a tough public high school in Baltimore County, Maryland. When Cassie, a well liked senior at the school, disappears suspiciously, both of their lives change forever. Together, will they find out what happened to Cassie? The factual film follows British soldier-cameramen Sgt. Mike Lewis and Sgt. Bill Lawrie. In April 1945 they accompanied British troops to what theywere toldwas a typhus hospital in Northern Germany, named Bergen-Belsen. 　　The horrors of the camp were duly revealed to them – and then brought to the attention of the wider world for the first time through their landmark footage.

Co-written by director Gabriel Novis and its titular protagonist, this stunning sun-soaked film takes us on a journey from darkness to light. Inspired to surf by the memory of her father, whom she lost to suicide, Alice finds her love for the sport tainted by the toxic, transphobic responses to her presence by other surfers. Despite this conservative environment, and the well-documented discrimination and violence against the trans community in Brazil, we see Alice journeying towards her full self - living joyfully and surrounded by trans-affirming friendships.

Pushed to the breaking point by Simon, her psychologically abusive boyfriend, Alice becomes an unwitting participant in an intervention staged by her two closest friends while on vacation. As she rediscovers the essence of herself and gains some much-needed perspective, she slowly starts to fray the cords of codependency that bind her. However, Simon's vengeance is as inevitable as it is shattering, and once unleashed, it tests her strength, her courage, and the bonds of deep-rooted friendships.
